For the last 5 months I've been working on a web app that would make writing a novel about asteroid mining easier.
I'm not really sure a project like this can ever be finished, but at this point it's finished enough for me to get to the real business of writing the novel.
This morning I pressed the "start over" button one last time and the app produced a story outline that I'll puzzle together now to produce my novel.
Hopefully it'll be done before November, so I can do something easier for NaNoWriMo.
I'm calling the novel, Mine.
Total Failure. Turns out the hard part of writing a novel is actually writing good sentences. Teaching a computer to write great sentences is really really hard.
